It is important to remember that a computer can only display a font on screen if that font is actually installed on that computer. This list includes fonts that are installed on most computers. If for some reason the computer cannot read the font it will be replaced on the screen by a default font. This will not change what is displayed, just how it is displayed.

Bigger Blogger Pictures

Here are the directions to make your post pictures bigger through Blogger:

1) Upload your pictures to your post like you normally do

2) If you look at the top right of your posting area you will see 2 buttons, "Edit HTML" and "Compose". Click on "Edit HTML".

3) You will see the actual HTML code of your blog post. Look to the place where your picture would be and you will see some code that looks like this:

4) What you have located is the HTML code of your picture. We will be changing 3 things in order to make your picture appear bigger on the screen. Those 3 things are changing with width code, deleting the height code, and altering the s400 code. These are the parts of the code that will be altered:

5) Locate the WIDTH code. Change the WIDTH: 400px; to WIDTH: 600px;. You can make this number smaller for vertical pictures if you wish. Next, delete the entire code that reads HEIGHT: 300px;. Remember to delete the ; at the end of the height code too. Finally, locate the code that says /s400/. Swap the 4 for an 8 so that the code reads /s800/. The altered code should look like this:

6) Occassionally the code will look a little bit different but it will still be those 3 things that you need to change (they just might be in different orders)

7) Click back on "Compose Mode" and continue editing your post as normal.
